Ruling by the Connecticut Probate Court in New London (1705 Nov. 15) appointing Jonathan Prentis, John Richards, and George Denison to divide the estate of Joshua Hempsted, deceased, set out to the children who have not received their portion and consider what each should allow toward the maintenance of Phebe Hempsted, daughter of Joshua Hempsted, true copy attested to by Judge Richard Law; together with small sheet (undated) giving the line between the property of Capt. John Denison, Joshua Hempsted, and Mary Pierpoint, and marks on the trees.
